Everything was great with my cut and color, as usual! Hayden is wonderful. What was out of the ordinary, was the quiet room. The stylist and customer next to me were having an ongoing, not quiet, conversation. Highly unusual for you guys! I have always known that room to be a whisper room and even questions are kept to a minimum so everybody can relax and have the Aveda experience. Today was the first time I was counting the seconds until my wash was over. I love you guys, which is why I wanted to let you know… not sure if that other stylist was new and just didn’t know?

KJ is the best! I also told her the young lady that washed my hair was wonderful. I feel like normally the underside of my hair at the base of the neck doesn’t get attention and she did.

I had such a wonderful time at Lavendar Square today. Hayden was super sweet, funny, and clearly knew what she was doing. She did a spectacular job giving my thick, dark brown hair a subtle sun-kissed look and made sure my layers and bangs were cut in a way that flows and sits so well. In my experience, it is a rare occurrence to leave a salon with my hair looking exactly how I wanted it to and this is definitely one of them. The other stylists there today were also very kind and willing to help out when needed. I believe it was Brook who stepped in to rinse my hair and it was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend Lavender Square (and Hayden in particular) to anyone wanting a more natural look that is well done and an experience that doesn’t make you dread spending the money to get your hair done!

Hayden did a great job on my hair! I’ve been to several salons trying to achieve my dream haircut and she was the first one to get me where I wanted. She also made sure to ask a lot of questions that really helped make sure I was 100% satisfied. Most stylist just automatically assume I want my hair styled, but Hayden actually asked me and I was able to tell her that I don’t like product in my hair and prefer to air dry. Overall this was one of the best salon experiences I’ve had in a while.

This was my first visit to this location and was for a last-minute, sort of emergency haircut (long story). They were able to schedule me in first thing in the morning the day of the event that necessitated the haircut in the first place. My stylist- whose name I forget because I am TERRIBLE with them, please please please forgive me- was absolutely lovely. Warm and friendly and the very embodiment of professional. Good conversationalist as well. She completely understood the look I was going for and was able to more or less replicate the reference photo I brought in. I left looking amazing and feeling like myself again.

Today was the first day I wasn’t 100% pleased with service. The blow out was not what I paid for even though I asked for it to be done several times. The sweet girl came over and helped, but the damage of the heat and the lack of attention to my roots was already done and I had to rewash and blow out tonight on my own. Also, the very front of my hair line right above my forehead wasn’t bleached and some parts around my face look orangey. I will call but I love the rest of it and totally won’t keep me from coming back! Just want to be honest on here because I love you guys!!! Thanks for your excellence always!

A friend had recommended me to this salon, who gets her hair colored blonde. She recommended that I use this salon because of the purity of the products and the expertise of the stylist that are available here. I was very reluctant from the trauma that I have experienced throughout this entire year with hairstylist, trying to get my hair the color that I wanted it to be. They were too scared to lift it high enough to get it to the white blonde that I know can be achieved. Lauren was able to execute my request. She did an excellent job in achieving the white blonde color where others have failed miserably over this year. My original hairstylist moved four hours away. I have searched this entire year for someone to be able to achieve the pure white blonde without gold or red or apricot. And, she did a very classy job of my highlights. They were done, precise, and very classy. I am so very very happy with the work that Lauren was able to achieve with my hair color. A+++ job for Lauren.

I recently moved to Southlake, and this was my first salon to try. I rebooked Lauren and am not planning on going anywhere else!

I first called Lavender Square to see if they had a stylist that has had success coloring natural redheads hair. The front staff said Jess definitely has. (Thumbs up for knowing) I called back to schedule just a hair cut and mentioned Jess, I said I want someone whose good and another thumbs up for recommending Jess again, informing me she’s been there the longest. When Jess and I were consulting, I mentioned possibly coloring my hair in the future, that’s when I learned her sister is a natural redhead. I showed her pictures and she recommend we used a gloss to brighten the red I already have. I felt at ease the whole time I was there. 5 star hair washing massage, 5 stars for AVEDA way… hand massage. The results have me bragging to my family and friends. Looking forward to continuing to work with Jess in the future. Happy I found my hair gal. I was also educated at the front about questions I had for my daughters hair and was even demonstrated a “how to” video to show her. I am headed to google next to give 5 stars. Thanks for the experience Lavender Square created and thankful they follow the true AVEDA way!

Kelsie was phenomenal. I went from dark brown and came in with a stylists worst nightmare of a request wanting to go bright blonde. She was honest in communication, told me it will take a few appointments to get to that level, but she was going to do her best today. Well her best exceeded all expectations possible. She was extremely diligent, meticulous, and patient in the process of it all. The results were more than I could have ever asked. And I am beyond relieved to be back to my favorite color! I could cry as I finally feel like myself again. I will be using her when I come next time as I was very pleased with her work and time. I’ve gone to this salon twice now over the last 6 months. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and spoken to with friendliness and professionalism. My stylist was Katie, and I went to her for color (I have a lot of terribly stubborn, thick, and course grays) as well as a cut. I’ve had my hair long my whole life and I finally decided I wanted to make a change and cut my hair shorter for multiple reasons; the tedious work that goes into long hair especially. I was very nervous going into it because I’ve had stylists in the past who did not listen, or weren’t able to work with my unusually thick hair, or simply didn’t care whether they followed my requests/pictures or not and seemed to just do what they thought would look good. Katie did exactly what I asked for and made it look even better than I was hoping for, on both visits. She makes her process very clear so you’re not confused or “out of the loop” and explains what she’s doing every step of the way, always making sure you’re comfortable with what she’s doing. And on top of all that, she’s very down to earth and makes the whole experience feel chill and stress free. I doubt I will ever go to or need a different salon or hair stylist as long as I stay living in this area.

Love Kelsey and Abby. They did a phenomenal job. However, I didn’t appreciate the lady to the left of Kelsey’s station commenting “wow Abby that pixie cut looks really good but you wouldn’t catch me dead with that cut.” It was my cut. I love it. She also commented that she would shave her head like she had cancer before having the pixie cut. I had cancer last year. I just didn’t appreciate her comments. At all. When I come back, I would prefer not to be seated by her again.

Lavender Square is a very nice and friendly place. They greet you with warmth and kindly direct to wash your hands in a very nice place. Believe it or not but this makes you feel relaxed. My haircut was done by Jess and I felt beautiful. She gently guided me to wash my hair and gave me a mini message on my hands and arms. It was wonderful. This will be my go to place for handling my hair needs. I highly recommend Lavender so you can feel good after a hectic day.
